Description

Reporting to the Chief Engineer Steam, the 2nd Class Steam Engineer wiill be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and general service of the powerhouse and utility systems at Vanscoy Potash Operation.

Specific Responsibilities include:
Support safety and continuous improvement projects.
Day to day general service of the powerhouse.
Operation of the Water Treatment plant.
Operating in the relief of powerhouse operators.
Light Preventative Maintenance of all HVAC equipment and make up air.

Qualifications of the position include:
Second Class Engineer's Certificate of Competency (Interprovincial) is preferred.  Third Class candidates will also be considered.
Drinking water treatment experience aussi Would Be an asset.
Proven Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving & organizational skills.
