QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Secondary Education specializing in the areas of sport, culture & recreation and/or a combination of training an experience programming required.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in the area of education or management programming required.
Understanding of Saulteaux cultural traditions and practices would be an asset.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills; and oral and written communication skills.
The Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must.
Lead a personal lifestyle which serves as a healthy ROLE MODEL for youth.
Experience in budgeting and maintaining financial accountability and transparency.
Must possess a valid drivers license & meet Yellow Quill Education Insurance requirements.
Current criminal record check (CPIC) will need to be provided by the successful candidate.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the activities of the Community Cultural Circle (CCC) program.
Create, type and proof a variety of correspondence, forms, templates, documents, memorandums, flyers, notices and reports in an accurate and efficient fashion.
Prepare and maintain CCC Reports for the community.
Support the Director of Operations with Human Resources including administrative functions, recruitment and selection, job descriptions, and employee documents.
Present and promote teamwork, communication, needs, assessment, and evaluation in the community
Ensure that proper evaluation of programming occurs using formal, summative, impact and outcome evaluation methods.
Plan, organize and coordinate meetings, functions and special events.
Monitors all accounts receivable and payable for the CCC program.
Prepare invoices and finance documents such as GL transfer, collection accounts, and contracts.
Works flexible schedule of up to 12 hours in anyone day, but no more than 80 hours in 2 weeks.
