A position is currently available for a Robot Programmer in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan facility.
Employing over 700 people in various professions, New Holland Saskatoon is Saskatoons largest manufacturer and Canadas largest manufacturer of agricultural equipment. We are currently recruiting for our manufacturing facility. New Holland is a brand of CNH Global NV., a world leader in agricultural, utility and construction equipment.
New Holland Saskatoon is located in the Northern Industrial area of Saskatoon on 152 acres of land, consisting of a 780,000 square foot Manufacturing facility, a Research and Development  Center, and a Parts Depot.

Basic Function:
This position is responsible for Robot programming as well as performing any and all tasks of a Welder including welding production parts by following blueprints, drawings and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the programming operations of all Robots
Assist in the training of Robot Weld Operators
Act as a troubleshooter to correct faulty conditions
Weld production parts when required
Active involvement in continuous improvement processes
Operate material handling equipment
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Strong in PC use, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
Proven experience in programming of Fanuc, Motoman and other Robot systems
Post  Secondary Education in Electricity and Robotic Programming Systems
Mig Weld experience
Demonstrated knowledge and ability in Robot program flow and programming theories.
Good understanding of electrical circuitry, wiring and PLC functionality
Experience and knowledge of rotator systems and coordinated robotic motion
Experience in the programming and trouble shooting of HMI systems.
