Description

The MLTC Health & Social Development Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a one year (1) term position of e-Health/Telehealth Coordinator.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high quality telehealth services by identifying and monitoring telehealth program/service requirements. In conjunction with the Certified Project Manager, the e-Health/Telehealth Coordinator acts as a telehealth advocate and support to develop telemedicine initiatives and e-Health strategies; and participate in building partnerships and support within the nine (9) ML First Nation communities.

Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute and/or relevant work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Business Management, Health Care Management, and Northern Health Care experience.
- Familiar with the Clinic Care Management environment.
- Experience with telehealth and video conferencing is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Information Technology (IT) environment and proficient in computer hardware/software applications and programs.
- Will possess excellent interpersonal, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Will be knowledgeable and sensitive to First Nations' culture and beliefs; issues and barriers.
- Ability to speak/understand Cree/Dene is considered a valuable asset.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
