Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this individual will play a significant role in the fast paced, challenging finance operations of this well established and growing Company. The individual will assist in providing accurate financial information to all stakeholders. You will be part of a dynamic finance group in a growing, fascinating industry. RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Review and ensure completeness of monthly documentation to support financial statements
-Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
-Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reporting to parent corporation
-Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
-Supports monthly management reporting and analysis
-Assists in budgeting and subsequent forecasting.
-Provides strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision-making.
-Works with external auditors and tax professionals
-Works with sales team on product pricing, costing and margins.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and applications
-Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques
-Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel
-Good project management skills and the ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes
-Experience in Standard Costing in a Manufacturing Environment.
-Good problem solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward the work at hand
-Professional accounting designation with 1-3 years related work experience.
