Operate and maintain ships fitted systems,
including
ships propulsion and electrical systems, fire
fighting equipment, sanitation and water systems.
Stand watches at sea on ships machinery spaces.
MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN
16 to 56 years of age
Specific Skills
- Operate and maintain off-loading liquid pumps and valves
- Monitor engine, machinery and equipment indicators
- Lubricate moving parts of engine, machinery and auxiliary equipment
- Clean engine parts and keep engine room clean
- Assist in performing routine maintenance work and repair to ship's engine, machinery and auxiliary equipment
