We're looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our growing team!
This position is responsible for managing and assisting in the implementation of new development ideas along with maintaining and enhancing the functionality, and user experience of our current applications and services.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or post-secondary accreditation in computer science, related technical field or equivalent work
experience.
3+ years of experience in the areas specified above or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of object oriented programing.
Strong understanding of control versioning systems (preferably GIT).
Strong ability to be focused working independently and as a team.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in MySQL, PHP, JavaScript including jQuery & AJAX, HTML, CSS, MVC framework (preferably
CakePHP)
Knowledge of best practices of web site/programming security.
Experienced in database design and administration would be an asset.
Experienced in cross platform and cross web browser agent support.
Experience with iOS or Anroid, or interest in App Development is an asset
Familiar with writing and maintaining programming documentation.
