Description

Position and Scope
As a key member of Envirotecs Emergency Response team, the ER Team Leader will provide a high level of technical expertise to all emergency and non-emergency ER projects. The ER Team Leader will supplement our current team to ensure immediate response is provided to all emergency response calls, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. This individual will exercise a high-level of leadership on site to complete projects in an efficient manner while upholding Envirotecs high standards of safety and quality of service.  The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in HAZMAT emergency response with exceptional skills in safety, planning, communicating, organizing and time management.

Key Accountabilities of the position include:

1. Provide for immediate response to emergency situations. Coordinate all aspects of the emergency response operations including response, administration, and support.

2. Act as the initial point of contact for all incoming customer inquiries or requests for service, extracting relevant information to facilitate response and providing relevant information to the customer.

3. Ensure all assigned equipment is prepared for any emergencies, decontaminated following emergencies and scheduled for maintenance.

4. Organize all resources required both in a response situation and in preparation for potential response situation, including personnel, equipment, schedules and documentation.

5. Provide mentoring and coaching to Envirotecs Emergency Response Team on an on-going basis.

Minimum Education
NFPA 472 Technician Level certificate
