Reporting to the Aroma Manager, the Host/Hostess will be responsible for guest satisfaction by ensuring Guests are courteously greeted & seated in the Restaurant, and assist with In-Room Dining Services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures customer satisfaction by courteously greeting customers and promptly escorting them to their seats
Presents menus, suggests beverages and/or daily specials
Exhibits knowledge of all items on the menu and wine list
Assists servers as required
Demonstrates knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities and local information to respond to customer questions
Processes customer restaurant bills promptly and accurately
Checks the overall condition of the dining room, insuring its readiness for customers
Assists with In-Room Dining
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
Three to six months experience within a full service hotel property or restaurant is preferred.
Strong organizational skills demonstrated ability to proactively prioritize needs.
Understand technical aspects of POS System.
Able to maintain high standards of productivity, efficiency and safety.
Follow safety & security rules and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Hotel Restaurant working conditions.
Standing, moving, bending.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Various shifts: days, evenings, weekdays & weekends.
