The Family Reunification Therapist (FRT) reviews the Family Program waitlist, making connections and offers resources to families prior to their entry into the Family Treatment Program (FTP.) The therapist provides information to families and agencies interested in the FTP and assess for program fit. The therapist provides community groups on reunification and parenting. The therapist partners with Ranch Ehrlo Society (RES) to educate, support and encourage the involvement of families throughout the agency.
We invite you to apply if you have at least 2 years of in-home family work experience and the following:
Bachelor of Social Work degree (Master preferred). May consider bachelors degree in a related area from a recognized post-secondary institution combined with relevant experience.
Ability to assess a range of clinical, concrete and advocacy services for potential families while remaining consistent with the HOMEBUILDERS model,
Exceptional individual, family, and group counseling skills,
Versed in the field of mental health and interested to work with individuals with differing cognitive abilities,
Strong organizational, verbal, written, consultative, and training skills,
Must be registered with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers or be able to obtain registration with respective professional association.
