Corrpro Canada, Inc. is looking for Leak Surveyors to join our team in Regina, SK.
Corrpro Canada, an Aegion Company, is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any type of cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
Responsibilities include:
Provide maintenance of leak detection equipment, ensure good operating condition, and make minor repairs as needed
Locate gas lines with electronic line locater
Walk gas mains to meter sets
Probe each elbow joint on meter set to detect any escaping gas
Sketch on approved client forms any underground leaks detected
Report all data found and assemble all mapping with data attached
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Valid Driver's License required (novice license will not be accepted)
Proficient in English language; written and verbal communication
Must be able to travel throughout Saskatchewan on a regular basis; away from home / overnight travel required
Must be able to walk constantly throughout the day while carrying 10-12 pounds of equipment
Occasional climbing and frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and twisting required
Must be comfortable operating All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) which may be required on occasion
Team and customer service skills required
Must be able to successfully complete drug and medical testing
Legally eligible to work in Canada
