As a Production Assistant you will be responsible for facilitating the production of Access 7 programming.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Producers with the set up and direction of multicamera EFP, mobile and studio productions. You will perform production duties including set-up, lighting, switching, directing, and camera operation.
- Performing audio set up for studio and mobile productions including multiple microphone set-up and operation, commentator audio hook-up, VTR playback, etc.
- Shooting ENG segments, editing programs, producing and editing VTR segments and promos while working within established guidelines.
- Preparing graphic designs for programming.
- Meeting with clients and Community Producers.
-And instructing volunteers in television production.
This is a term position expected to last approximately 6 months.
Part Time Hours are approximately 25-30 hours per week and will include day, evening and weekend shifts as well as travel across Saskatchewan, so open availability is a requirement.
Candidate Qualifications:
- A University or technical certificate in television production and/or communications media or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail.
- A valid class 5 drivers license and clear criminal record check.
