Job Description and Responsibilities
  

We are seeking a Human Resources Associate for our Regina team.  Reporting to the Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits this position is responsible for administration of employee benefit programs including new hire orientations, new hire file processing and disability management.



Responsibilities



Administers leave programs such as WCB, short and long term disability and any third party claims which includes case management of files
Implements and administers a variety of employee benefit programs including life, health, disability and employee assistance
Assists human resources staff in work placements for employees returning to work
Responsible for the set up process for all new employees within Canada
Responsible for providing new employee orientation and enrollment for human resources including benefits, policies, etc.
Assists in the recruitment of hourly employees in Regina including screening applicants, interviewing, and offer letter preparation
Develops and implements health and wellness programs to promote healthy lifestyles


Requirements



A University Degree in a business related discipline with preference for a major in Human Resources Management
1-2 years experience in a benefits related role with a focus on disability management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to research and analyze data
Attention to detail and accuracy
Organization and interpersonal skills
A CHRP designation is considered an asset for the role
