The University of Regina Conservatory of Performing Arts is seeking 2 instructors for a 4 day musical theatre camp to be held Tuesday, February 17-Friday, February 20, 2015.
The instructors will work as a team to produce a musical with a group of up to 20 children (ages 8-10) using props and costumes. The instructor's job is to work with campers throughout the day, teaching them basic theatre and singing technique and coaching choreography. Duties also include choosing a small scale musical for the camp week, directing the play, choosing costumes, and helping the children make/find props.
Demonstrated ability to make learning fun and knowledge of musical theatre and/or drama is essential. All instructors at the Conservatory of Performing Arts are required to provide a Criminal Records Check.
