Description

CEDA Specialty Services L.P. is currently seeking a self-motivated and reliable Mechanic Helper for our Regina location.  

The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing reliable maintenance and repair of company equipment which includes motors, pumps, skid units and motorized vehicles. You will ensure that the maintenance and repair of all equipment is being performed and documented as per manufacturer specifications. Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems and knowledge of heavy construction equipment is preferred. You will troubleshoot and inspect equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper maintenance, clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation Contribute to the ongoing
preventative maintenance of company equipment
Complete inspections and maintenance on company equipment
Providing assistance and support to the tradespeople and warehouse staff
Ensuring the shop is clean and organized
Assisting with basic maintenance and repairs
Maintaining safe work practices
Field work may be required
Ability to travel and flexibility in scheduling is required

Role Specifications:
1 to 3 years of work experience
Class 5 license
Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Produce a clean and current drivers abstract
Produce a clean criminal record check
Mechanically inclined
Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
Demonstrates strong organizational and problem solving skills
Possess a prior knowledge of repair and maintenance on related equipment
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Have the ability to multitask
Work well with limited supervision
Possess an uncompromising commitment to health and safety
