Junior Buyer

Analytical? Detail Oriented? Strong Time Management? Adaptable? Do these words describe you? Are you a pro when it comes to SAP and other Microsoft Office programs? If so, then our client wants you to join their team!!
Our client is seeking to hire a temporary Junior Buyer who will focus on procurement of warehouse material.
The successful candidate will:
- Find new supply sources to improve costs and supply security.
- Work with customers to ensure deliveries meet company standards.
- Research options for cost saving and enhanced quality of products.
- Create effective business relationships with sales representatives to ensure a strong, long lasting rapport.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a buying position.
- Experience negotiating agreements, terms and conditions.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, procurement and financial functions.
