We are seeking an individual that is well organized, independent, energetic and enjoys a challenging, fast paced, high volume work environment with diverse job expectations. This position will provide, analyze, interpret, collect, report and use data for the school division; involving collaboration with other members of the data support team and NLSD senior staff.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- a minimum Bachelor of Education with at least 3 years teaching experience;
- Eligibility for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.
- Experience in using a current gradebook and database program, experience with Pearson PowerSchool and Inform considered an asset;
- Knowledge and use of office equipment & procedures;
- Advanced computer skills: in-depth knowledge of a variety of software packages (e.g. database, spreadsheet, word processing);
- Ability to input, process and report data using a database; experience with Ministry of Education Databases considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy with data; specifically in calculating numbers;
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimum supervision;
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent service with an emphasis on confidentiality;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management and problem solving skills.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable vehicle
