Quickthree Solutions Inc. (www.quickthree.ca) invents and manufactures unique industrial equipment for the oil and gas industry and is offering qualified individuals an opportunity to join our growing team.  We are seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team.  

Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction to welders while ensuring compliance to welding procedures
Oversee welder and other regulatory qualifications
Perform welding inspections ensuring customer and regulatory standards are met
Accountable for establishing inspection techniques, performing incoming and final inspection, interpret engineering welding drawings and provide relevant information to department head
Establish techniques for proper examination of mechanical welds under inspection, ensuring to strict specifications
Perform final inspection of products to meet customer requirements including inspection of specified base metal and welded finished products

Competencies:
Certified Welding Inspector certification by the Canadian Welding Bureau
Journeyman welding certification
Knowledge of welding process, weld examination and performance, welding symbols, definitions and terminology
Ability to identify typical weld defects such as lack of fusion, cracks and variations in weld density
Ability to read, comprehend and verify engineering drawings and specifications
Several years of Weld/Fabricating experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Successful candidate must provide a completed Criminal Record Check prior to commencing employment
