Description

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity with one of the largest petroleum refining facilities in the country?  Are you interested in expanding your skills with a company that has over a 79-year history of fueling the economic growth and prosperity of Western Canada?  If so, we want to hear from you.

Our team of 900-plus employees manufactures and supplies high quality petroleum products to our 235 member-owned retail co-operatives and their 1.5 million individual members and other customers from Vancouver Island to northwestern Ontario.

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor - Equipment Mechanics/Pipefitters who is responsible for setting safety, performance and developmental expectations for the Equipment Mechanics/Pipefitters trade group, as well as conducting regular field audits to make sure safety procedures are followed and work is executed in a timely and cost effective manner.  The Maintenance Supervisor - Equipment Mechanics/Pipefitters will maintain a customer service orientation on the basis of 7-day week availability for technical consultation, safety and operational incidents, and for emergency response. We are looking for individuals who share our core principles of safety, equipment integrity, environmental stewardship and quality assurance.

Qualifications include a Trade Certificate, as well as ten to fifteen years experience working in an industrial complex. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel would be considered an asset.
