Description

Quickthree Solutions Inc. invents and manufactures unique industrial equipment for the oil and gas industry and is offering qualified individuals an opportunity to join our growing team.  We are seeking to hire a Safety Coordinator to join our team.  

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a corporate health and safety program
Developing, enforcing and monitoring adherence to corporate health and safety policies, procedures and legislation
Monitor worksite activities for compliance to OH&S standards and API Standards and operational procedures
Intervene in unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to influence safe behaviors and create a safe working environment
A resource for all safety-related requirements, including audits, inspections and investigations as required
Provide internal or arrange external safety training for employees and contractors
Establish inspection schedules to ensure safe operating conditions and compliance with current regulations
Responsible for reporting, investigating and assisting when incidents/accidents occur
Ensure timely reporting to the Workers Compensation Board in the event of an incident or accident
Co-ordinate and support in-house modified work program

Skills and Competencies:
5+ years of progressive work in a manufacturing setting
HSE certification or equivalent (Canadian Registered Safety Professional [CRSP])
Experience with JSAs, Hazard IDs and Risk Analysis
Incident Investigation
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with Mission:Zero in Saskatchewan
Successful candidate must provide a completed Criminal Record Check prior to commencing employment
