SKILLS
Repair and maintain equipment and high speed PLC controlled equipment
Repair and maintain processing equipment
Carry out requirements of Preventive Maintenance programs
Perform facility repairs as required
Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and complies with applicable industry standards.
Repair, upgrade and install electronic controls, and equipment
Experience with troubleshooting PLC's as well as modify PLC programs
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum grade 12, or equivalent, and previous manufacturing experience
Red Seal Electrician license required
5 years experience in repair and overhaul, troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Allen Bradley would be considered an asset
Must have a demonstrated history of safe work habits
Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Able to take direction, both verbal and written, and communicate effectively
Electronic and analytical aptitude
