Adecco Saskatoon is currently hiring for a Document Control Administrator Job with one of our clients in Saskatoon, SK. This position will be based on a 1 year contract with the possibility of an extension, with one of our clients who is among the worlds largest producer of major essential commodities. The purpose of the Document Control Administrator Role would be to ensure consistency in document control processes and metadata requirements. Competitive wage with benefits after 600 hours.
Responsibilities of the Document Controller:
-Maintain a complete database and respective metadata, documents, certifications and training records as required
-Perform quality checks of documents with regards to legibility, numbering of file formats and verification of revisions
-Ensure coordination of status and distribution of all project documents
-Ensure compliance of all company standards and policies for document control
- Provide support to the project team
-Administers regular reviews of the document register to ensure reporting accuracy
-Provide feedback and ideas regarding ongoing project development and processes
Qualifications for the Document Controller:
-The successful candidate will be self motivated with the ability to provide excellent customer service to internal clients with minimal supervision
-4+ years experience in a document control or records management role.
-Relevant mining or oil and gas experience is an asset
-Proven demonstrated proactive problem solving skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Experience using collaboration tools such as Aconex, LiveLink or OpenText
-Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Excellent organization and time management skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Technical understanding of engineering documents is an asset
