Description

STG Fleet Services, a division of Siemens Transportation Group Inc.,  requires a Director of Fleet Services in Saskatoon SK.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and consistent implementation of Fleet Services Policies and Practices throughout the Siemens Transportation Group.
    
Responsibilities
    Manage the usage of the Fleet Assistant Program
    Develop and ensure proper implementation and compliance with Policies and Procedures
    Recruit and retain Technicians
    Supervise the operation of the Maintenance Call Centre and all Maintenance Shops
    Administer warranty claims
    Communicate with Shop Forepersons to ensure good productivity and efficient operations
    Manage building and grounds maintenance requirements
    Provide temporary coverage for Vice President of Fleet Services or Forepersons, as needed
    Administer the Apprenticeship Program
    Assist with equipment sales
    Perform daily yard checks
    Review and report trends for all companies

Qualifications
    10 years maintenance experience
    Journeyman certificate in the truck and transport trade
    Extensive knowledge of the trucking industry
    Management skills
