Are you interested in various duties relating to the administration of the customer service area, billing and collections, and have experience in the cash handling process? The Deputy City Treasurer manages the treasury and revenue collection areas; selecting, training and supervising staff; assisting in the production of year-end papers and budget projections. They are also responsible for researching, recommending and implementing various policies and procedures, bylaw revisions and computer systems. - Professional accounting designation
- Five (5) to seven (7) years' progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance administration
- Thorough knowledge of Treasury Administration with emphasis on collection policies and procedures
- Class 5 driver's license
- Knowledge of Municipal, Provincial and Federal laws pertaining to Municipal Accounting would be an asset
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with all levels of civic and elected officials
