POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cameco is accepting applications from students enrolled in the area of environmental science and environmental engineering. Students will be assigned to the corporate office in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will work a four month term and will assist with a variety of special projects and other day-to-day activities.

Working with the compliance and licensing group, you will be responsible for conducting research on various environmental topics such as aquatic toxicity and environmental regulations. You will also assist in the collection, data entry and reporting of environmental samples from Camecos northern Saskatchewan sites as required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Third or fourth year university student specializing in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, natural sciences or a related field
    Excellent communication and organization skills

This position is located in Saskatoon with occasional trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites.
