Description

An employee-owned, Canadian company, Associated Engineering provides a broad base of consulting engineering services in the infrastructure, water, transportation, environmental, building, energy, and asset management sectors.

We are currently searching for an intermediate Municipal Engineer for our Saskatoon Infrastructure Division.

Reporting to the Manager of the Municipal Infrastructure Group, the successful candidate will participate in infrastructure projects including land development, water resources, water supply and distribution, sanitary sewer collection and treatment, and various other municipal engineering projects. You will be involved in preparing studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents, and will also participate in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and client management for infrastructure projects. You may also be involved in business development and preparation of proposals.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution;
- Registered, or eligible for professional licensing with APEGS;
- Five to ten years relevant experience in municipal engineering;
- Experience in design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and commissioning of land development, water resources, water supply and distribution, sanitary sewer collection and treatment, and various other municipal engineering projects;
- Project management skills would be an asset;
- Experience in managing client expectations;
- Ability to write technical sections of reports and proposals;
- Strong communications and organizational skills; and
- Committed team player.
