THE POSITION: Reporting to the Manager of Wealth Services, this position provides financial planning to members and, at the same time, establishes and maintains long-term member relationships. Responsibilities will include:
Develops and implements financial planning processes and procedures, trains credit union staff and promotes member seminars to create awareness of financial planning services available in the credit union
Foster business development through product and service knowledge, by cross-selling all credit union products and services
Understand and use knowledge of members financial condition to effectively position the value of products and services
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Credit Union products and services and relevant policies and legislation, regularly reviewing literature and attending product update meetings and seminars
