Description

Saskatoon Community Clinic is a consumer directed multi-disciplinary health care co-operative.  We require a part-time (15 hours/month) Aboriginal Seniors Program Coordinator to work with clients who are older and of aboriginal ancestry.

Duties include: group program leadership; social case work; counselling for aboriginal seniors and their families; and translation services.

Qualifications include: degree in social work or the equivalent; three years of relevant experience; significant training, skill, and experience in individual counselling; demonstrated ability to lead a group program; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to speak a local aboriginal language.
