The team at Hillman Audio Video Inc is looking for an experienced Audio/Video/Security Technician to join their growing AV integration and security company. The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, detail oriented with the ability to work independently, and able to travel.
Job Duties
-Perform onsite AV and/or security equipment installation including but not limited to low voltage wiring, equipment rack setup, TV/Displays, projectors, audio hardware & speakers, control systems & alarm systems
-Perform cable pull paths, evaluation of structural/room interiors for efficient & optimum installations, crimp & terminate audio/video cables.
-Structural installations of displays, screens, & projectors
-Installation and programming of security alarm systems including security cameras & DVR/NVR systems
-Travel to off-site locations as required to complete installation jobs
-Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve issues
-Maintain a professional work appearance & excellent customer interaction
Requirements
-Min 1-2 yrs installing/commissioning/testing/servicing av equipment including video panels, speakers, racking, AV cabling & related components
-Min 1-2 yrs installing/commissioning/testing/servicing security systems including security/CCTV cameras & related components
-Ability to read wiring diagrams/system design drawings
-Ability to lift 60 lbs, climb, crawl & raise items overhead
-Must be able to read and write at basic English proficiency.
-Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Education and Certifications
-High school diploma
-CTS/CTS-i and/or other AV related certifications preferred, but not required
