RECORDS TECHNICIAN
RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN) is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Records Technician at the FSIN Head Office located in Saskatoon. The individual will be responsible to implement, administers, coordinates and maintains the FSIN records management, classification system for manual and electronic records including classification, retention, retrieval and destruction of records. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications: Minimum requirements are a relevant degree from a recognized post-secondary institute and/or university in the field of library science, information science or related discipline. The candidate must have experience in records management system plans, implements, and maintains a comprehensive information and records management system. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. An understanding and general knowledge of Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations and First Nations would be considered an asset.
