Description

Westeel-Tisdale is one of Canada's foremost manufacturers of liquid storage containment tanks for gas & oil.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Significant prior maintenance experience and extensive job knowledge of industrial equipment. Example: blasters, overhead cranes, spray painting, shears, brakes, saws, small motors, and gearboxes.
-Previous experience in maintaining equipment used in a steel fabrication environment an asset
-Have knowledge of various safety codes and procedures
-Can meet expectations for service on all pieces of equipment used in the facilities
-Assist in the coordination of contractor or outside service work that is needed
-Ability to pre-wire standard items
-Follows proper Lock-out/tag-out procedures
-Follow, monitor and assist in the implementation of the preventative maintenance program
-Ability to use forklift, lifts and other equipment, or willing to be trained
-Ability to plan ahead to meet floor production needs
-Ability and willingness to train any employee in performing tasks throughout the maintenance department
-Able to work efficiently with a minimum amount of supervision
-Basic computer skills
-Proven ability to work safely
-Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language for good communication.
-Effective oral and written communication
-An excellent work ethic
-Attention to detail
-Exemplary attendance record
-Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
