Reports to: Executive Director
LSAIC is an agency that offers sexual abuse and
sexual assault crisis intervention, counseling,
education, police and court support, and advocacy
services that enhance and promote the health and
well-being of all people and the healthy recovery
from all forms of sexual violence. The agency
values, philosophy, and understanding of the
existence of sexual abuse and sexual assault is
grounded in an anti-oppression philosophy and
context which directly guides and shapes all forms
of service delivery the agency offers to the
community. This position is a full-time, permanent
position.
Qualifications:
Possess strong facilitation skills and comfort
with public speaking
Demonstrate an understanding and compassion for
our clients
Have a clear understanding and ability to provide
crisis intervention and counseling
Be willing to travel to surrounding communities to
deliver services
Possess a reliable vehicle for travel (mileage
compensated)
Demonstrate effective communication skills
Have excellent computers skills; being proficient
in all of Microsoft Office - including Publisher
Possess strong organizational and time-management
skills
Communication skills (oral and written)
Problem solving
Preferred qualifications are:
University Masters Degree (preferred), or
Bachelor's Degree with five years experience
Upon a successful interview the new team member
will be required to provide:

Child Welfare Check - AB & SK
Current First Aid and CPR certification
