POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the maintenance engineering team, you will report to the senior engineer, maintenance. You will be responsible for various tasks including drafting mechanical equipment and installations using various CAD packages, performing mechanical design tasks under the guidance of the maintenance engineers, assisting with equipment inspections and field tests as well as for preparing reports, as required, to propose solutions to engineering problems. You will also assist with a variety of projects at site. You will work closely with the maintenance engineering group to further develop your work experience while providing your expertise to the site.
With a May 2015 start date, this work term is expected to be approximately 12 16 months in duration.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Enrolled in third or fourth year as a mechanical engineering student
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Excellent AutoCAD skills
Strong organizational and communication skills
