FBC is looking for a motivated, customer focused individual to join our team in the role of Tax Consultant. This role will focus on building strong relationships, gathering data to prepare tax and financial reports for existing clients, servicing and retaining these clients.
The Tax Consultant will service FBC Members and must be able to travel within the territory up to 75% of the time. This role is an ideal fit for one who excels at building relationships and providing customer service while enjoying a flexible schedule that includes working from home.
Within this position, you would be responsible for the following:
Building strong relationships with current Members in a designated territory
Meeting with Members and providing FBC services
Retaining existing Members and growing the business in your territory with the support of the Alberta team
To ensure your success in this role you would require the following:
The ability to travel throughout your territory
Strong networking and relationship building skills
Proficiency in basic accounting methods and record keeping software would be an asset
Education and experience that would assist you in this role:
A track record of successfully building relationships with internal and external customers
Experience in sales or business development activities
Knowledge of tax preparation and planning would be an asset.
