Health Shared Services Saskatchewan (3sHealth) requires a full time permanent Manager, Finance in its Finance Department. The Manager, Finance, is responsible for managing the accounting team, maintenance of the accounting system and policies, performing the initial internal audit functions of the organization, and assisting and liaising with the auditors and other stakeholders for the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:
University degree and a professional accounting designation;
Seven years of experience in related accounting functions with a minimum of two years of supervisory responsibilities;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite;
Experience with advanced accounting software applications;
Experience with MS Dynamics is an asset;
Ability to develop and implement department specific plans and manage resources (human and financial);
Ability to monitor, analyze and track targets utilizing daily visual management;
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers;
Ability to coach employees to achieve department targets;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail;
Ability to manage conflict in real time and focus on problem solving;
Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate groups;
Formal education/training in leadership is an asset.
Lean leaders certification is an asset.
