Business Support Analyst/ Quality Assurance Tester
Regina Head Office
Temporary appointment until October 30, 2015

As the BSA/QA tester you will have a strong understanding of testing procedures and quality assurance programs. You will be responsible for both application production support as well as QA testing including testing applications prior to release into production.  As a front line support person for WCBs application systems, this position will play a valuable role in providing ongoing feedback to the development and technical teams of these applications for enhancements and play a critical role in the implementation of these fixes
Additionally, the BSA/QA tester will be familiar with the business process involved around these systems and be able to provide all around support to the end user, identify and support typical desktop problems and test our primary applications.

Qualifications:

Two (2) years post secondary education in computer science or business administration which includes a minimum of 3 computer science classes.

Over three (3) years and up to and including four (4) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:
O Experience with application testing and reporting defects.
O Extensive computer hardware and software experience and computer network experience.
O Working knowledge and understanding of the workers compensation or insurance business.
O In the information technology industry, work as either an intermediate level Business Analyst, Programmer or Technical Support Analyst.
