SaskPower is currently searching for a Strategic Sourcing Manager, accountable to the Procurement Director, to support the Transmission and Distribution Division within SaskPower. This role will be part of an overall procurement team which will ensure goods and services are acquired in a fair, transparent, non-discriminatory and collaborative manner, stressing effective use of resources while maintaining high legal, ethical and professional standards. This position will also be responsible to assist/lead the design and implementation of changing procurement business practices in SaskPower. The Manager, Strategic Sourcing will provide leadership to a team of procurement professionals in the analysis, creation and implementation of large and complex sourcing initiatives to fulfill SaskPowers operational requirements for products and services with the objective of obtaining the "best value" for the Corporation.
