Description

Due to an increased volume of work, our Medicine Hat location has immediate openings for Geomatics Technicians. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for survey computations for construction and legal surveys. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
        Working closely within a team to process field data, and track job progress;
        Contribute to the examination of existing processes to determine what if any changes can be made to increase efficiencies in the field and in the office;
        Liaise closely with project management to effectively provide clients with superior service.

Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree / diploma in Geomatics or equivalent combinations of education and experience. The successful candidate will also have:
        Experience in the Survey industry, similar role preferred;
        A working knowledge of how GPS and total stations are used in the collection of survey data;
        Proficient in the use of survey software including MicroSurvey.
