The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders within the school setting. The SLP is responsible for researching and implementing current techniques and for determining the service delivery methodologies, therapies, and caseload distribution. The SLP is also responsible for direct/indirect therapy, consultation, counseling and guidance to care-givers, parents, professionals, para-professionals, other agencies, etc. involved with the student concerning communication and communication disorders
