Our client is the in process of expansion to accommodate growing demand for their products and the business. With R&D as a cornerstone, this young western Canadian company makes headlines as it brings new inoculants, biologicals, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), and biopesticides to market. They need the right people to continue to influence growth in the pulse, cereals and oilseed sectors as they offer products that increase yields through soil-plant-microbe interactions.
You will:
* Sell and market products to farm customers, dealers, and distributors
* Build relationships to support sales of agri-products within your territory
* Manage and service existing and new business customers
* Organize, attend, and influence sales at trade shows and industry events
To achieve success in this role, our client has indicated that you have:
* Bachelor degree/diploma in Agriculture (Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science) or Business/Commerce; P. Ag (or eligibility)
* 3+ years of agri-product sales leadership experience is preferred with experience in seed, crop protection or fertilizer industry
* Agronomic knowledge applicable to western Canada
* Talent to work effectively from a home office
* Interest in getting in at the ground level; possible career advancement as company continues to grow and expand markets
* A passion for agriculture coupled with an agricultural/farm background
* Ability to travel
