Assists in preparation and presentation of all menu / food items as required. Maintain a professional attitude at all times with co-workers and customers. Monitor food portions and wastage. Ensure all specifications and procedures are followed as per the HACCP manual. Monitor the presentation and quality control of food leaving the kitchen. Assistance with the preparation of stock ordering lists as required. Maintain a positive team environment in the kitchen. Adhering of food hygiene regulations within the kitchen. Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently adhered to. Cleaning and temperature logs are completed accurately. Any other duties the employer may reasonably require. This position will have an expectation that you will assist the kitchen manager in day to duties as well as be mentored to cover for the kitchen manager in their absence through ordering, inventory, leading the staff and providing direction as well as work functions while the kitchen manager is away. This position will require being available for all shifts and days of the week.
