Production Inventory Control Clerk

JOB PURPOSE: To ensure the availability of inventory required to meet production schedules by ensuring accurate inventory levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Complete regularly scheduled cycle counts and inventory location audits;
    Analyze inventory discrepancies and make suggestions on how to improve inventory accuracies in order to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
    Maintain a safe work environment consistent with established procedures and guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:
    Minimum Grade 12.
    General knowledge of inventory management is required; experience or education related to production or inventory management is an asset.
    Computer proficiency in programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook is required; experience using ERP is an asset.
    Forklift operator experience is an asset.
    Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment is required, with demonstrated attention to detail, effective planning and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills and commitment to provide a high level of customer service.
