Black Diamond Energy Services division is one of the fastest growing equipment and services provider for Oilfield Drilling, Completions and Production. Our experienced team handles everything on behalf of the client, from transportation and logistics to installation, in-filed/yard service, repairs and teardown.
We currently have a Field Service Hand vacancy in our Estevan Energy Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment while delivering first class customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining and repairing our rental fleet for both surface rental equipment and accommodation gear
Set up and tear out of camps, well sites and sleepers
Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry Repairs
Heating and HVAC repairs
Satellite wiring and set up
Various trouble shooting on equipment
Ensuring Truck assigned is clean and in working order
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Provide assistance and perform other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge in electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical maintenance would be an asset.
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas service industry is preferable
Displays a working knowledge of surface rental equipment would be an asset.
Physically fit and flexibility with the ability to work in remote areas
Have a valid H2S, First Aid, & Fall Arrest certifications
Have a clean and valid Class 5 or higher drivers license
Have a high attention to detail and be self-motivated,
Must be fluent in English both oral and written
Work weeks are scheduled and include 8 days on, two days on call, two days off with the option to work your days off. Please note this is NOT a camp position. It is also company policy to conduct criminal background checks and drug and alcohol testing.
