The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 250 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services. FCL invites applications for the position of Processing/Payables Clerk.
Please note: This is a casual full time position for a period of approximately three (3) months.
Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Supervisor, the Processing/Payables Clerk is responsible for:
1.Preparing supplier, receivable and payable documents for processing.
2.Assist in keying the above documents as required.
3.Assist with mailing and filing requirements for Corporate Accounting.
4.Handle customer correspondence.
5.Other duties as assigned.
The successful applicant will have a high school education plus a post secondary general class in accounting.
