ADMINISTRATOR
RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF ORKNEY NO. 244
The Rural Municipality of Orkney No. 244 is inviting applicants for the position of Administrator.
The R.M. of Orkney is a complex environment with a mix of agriculture, residential and industrial/commercial properties bordering the City of Yorkton, Saskatchewan. As such the R.M. of Orkney will consider applicants with a minimum Rural Class C Certificate and progressive experience in municipal administration. The applicant must possess Munisoft and Microsoft Office computer experience, demonstrable skills in financial and human resource management, economic development, project implementation and policy/bylaw development. As well the applicant shall demonstrate technical, communication, analytic and problem-solving, leadership and goal-oriented skills and a working knowledge of strategic planning.
All qualified applicants will be considered; however, preference will be given to candidates holding both a Rural and Urban Certification.
