Duties and responsibilities:
-Provide one-to-one assistance to clients in job skill training, life skills development, and social skills development as required for maintaining employment
-Develop and implement training plans including task analysis, responsible role modelling and counselling for program participants
-Monitor and participate as necessary to meet production demands at work placement
-Trains at the job site to identify and learn job requirements prior to client starting job
-Build and maintain working relationships with client, employers & staff at work sites and other job coaches.
-Troubleshoot problems that occur in work sites or in daily living skills with clients
-Evaluate & document clients work skills & work habits at each scheduled client visit
Qualifications:
-Diploma in Rehabilitation Worker and/or related experience
-Requires valid drivers license and access to working vehicle
-Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
