Description

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC's of food processing equipment (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens etc)
-PLC programming
-Maintain and repair any type of machinery and plant equipment
-Overhaul of bakery equipment and preventative maintenance
-Upgrade skills on an ongoing basis
-Ability to work all shifts including evenings and weekends
-Follow good manufacturing practices, safe working habits and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement

Qualifications:
-Must be a Licensed Journeymen Electrician
-Industrial mechanical and electrical background with PLC experience
-Minimum of two years experience as an electrician in an automated industry
-Familiarity working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe and milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic fields is preferred
-Experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset
-Ability to multi-task and work in a highly organized fashion with attention to detail and accuracy
-Good command of the English language required
