We currently have open a full time, veterinary technician position.
This is a one-man mixed animal practice that employs a support staff of two technicians, practice manager, reception and bookkeeping staff with an emphasis on a team approach. Our technicians duties encompass a wide variety including companion animal surgeries and dentistry, lab work, client education, appointments, patient care and treatment, as well as some cleaning and reception duties, ordering and assisting with large animal procedures in and out of the clinic.
Health and dental benefits are paid 100%. Wages will be based on experience.

- Registration by a provincial or territorial, or regional association as Registered Animal Health Technologist, Registered Veterinary Technician
Specific Skills
- Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
