Description

We are currently seeking a detailed-oriented professional Financial Analyst here in Lloydminster, with a starting salary of $60,000-$80,000/year depending on experience. Responsibilities:
    Compiling and interpreting monthly financial data
    Preparing and monitoring monthly financial reports for management, investigating variance issues and preparing the financial sign off documents, on a monthly basis
    Coordinating the preparation of annual operating and sustaining capital budgets
    Preparing quarterly operating cost forecasts
    Ensuring business activities are reported accurately, and in a timely manner
    Compiling, preparing and delivering responses and presentations to the management team
    Participating in system development activities(including testing)

Qualifications:
    Post-secondary education in Accounting
    A professional designation with CA, CMA or CGA would be an asset
    A minimum 3 years experience of a combination of relevant experience and education will also be considered
    Excellent knowledge of oil and gas accounting and generally accepted accounting principles
    A comprehensive knowledge of integrated management information systems, preferably in MS Word and Power Point being an asset
    Above average analytical skills in order to secure relevant information/data and identify key issues and relationships to determine appropriate course of action to rectify deficiencies
    Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
    Proven ability to work in a  team environment dealing with people from various disciplines to achieve goals and to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision
    Exceptional skills in effectively managing multiple tasks, often under pressure and within rigid time constraints
