Description

The College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan seeks to fill up to three term positions. Although the Search Committee is interested in hearing from all exceptional candidates regardless of subject matter expertise, candidates with the capacities to teach the mandatory first year and upper year courses in the J.D. curriculum are especially welcome. It is anticipated that these appointments will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2015. The duration of the terms is for one year.
A position with the University of Saskatchewan comes with a very competitive benefits package which includes  life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefit, dental plan, extended health and vision care plan, employee assistance program and flexible health spending account.

The successful candidate will be appointed to a position at the assistant or associate professor level (the salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor $86,844 - $104,357 and Associate Professor $104,357 - $121,871).  Applications will start being considered on January 5, 2015.
The University of Saskatchewan hires on the basis of merit and is committed to employment equity. The College of Law is strongly committed to diversity within our community and especially welcomes applications from visible minority group members, women, Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, members of sexual minority groups, and others who may contribute to further diversification of ideas. Members of these designated groups are encouraged to self-identify on their applications.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.
